Two year old filly Heart of Siena debuted at Warwick Farm on Monday.

The filly has always shown Lee and her riders she had good ability, she had trialled well twice leading into this run. Yesterday she ridden beautifully by Adam Hyeronimus, he settled her in a lovely position behind the leaders on the fence. They saved ground along the inside where the rest of the field were going wide on the turn on the heavy 8 track. She hit the front and gave a good sprint, only to be overtaken by one in the straight. She finished a very credible second. Adam was full of praise of her efforts and confident the race day experience will be of great benefit to her.

Heart of Siena is by All Too Hard from the General Nediym mare Piazza Del Campo. She is a half sister to Listed winner Palazzo Pubblico. Lee purchased her for $35,000 out the Baramul draft at Magic Millions National Yearling sale last year.

She has a huge team of owners, many of them first timers had a good collect on her at the big place odds offered. Well done guys, we will be in the winner’s circle soon.
