Saturday will be a busy day for the stable with three of our team racing at Rosehill and Kembla.
Superbellaa will contest Race 1 at Rosehill, a 2yo handicap over 1100m. The filly resumed almost a month ago in the Woodlands Stakes but performed below expectations and was sent back to the trials. The theory is that Superbellaa doesn’t race so well second up and isn’t particularly fond of being restrained. This was proven when she trialled at Canterbury a fortnight ago, was allowed to stride and trounced the rest of the field by 6.8L well held to the line. That track was very heavy so we can be confident she will relish the conditions tomorrow. She will be under the saddle of Tim Clark who has ridden her at the trials previously.
Pressita and Sam Spade will both take on races at Kembla.
Pressita is in Race 5. She is second up from a spell. Her last start was a credible second in a strong field at Goulburn three weeks ago. She is fitter for the run and has performed well on a soft track. Jay Ford will partner her again and with not a lot of pace in the race she should get a nice run up on the speed.

Sam Spade will contest race 6. He had his first start at the track a fortnight ago and really impressed with a solid second placing. He is the type of horse who has always shown good ability but has taken some time to mature. His debut was on a heavy Kembla surface so again we are confident he will handle the soft conditions. Shaun Guymer will partner again from a good gate.

Three nice chances tomorrow, good luck to all the connections and hopefully we have a big day!
