Toronado – China Star filly

We are delighted to have secured a stunning filly by the exciting sire Toronado from a stakes winning mare. Again we think we found incredible value and we are very excited for this filly to join our team.

The filly has an excellent physique, she is very balanced with a deep girth and moves beautifully and effortlessly. She is lovely filly with scope, a great action and beautiful temperament. We love her and can’t wait to see what she can do on the racetrack. 

Her sire, Toronado currently stands at stud for $88,000 at Swettenham stud in Victoria. He has 4 seasons of racing progeny and has sired 34 stakes winners including Group 1 winners Masked Crusader and Mariamia. He is gun sire who is very well received in the sale ring and produces top line racehorses.

Her dam, China Star is a 6 time winner up to Group 3 level and multiple stakes placed in New Zealand. She is by a son of Stravinsky from an O’Reilly mare and this Stravinsky x Toronado line is proven to work very well with a great winners/runners strike rate.
