In December 2020, a new chapter was written for Curtis Racing, when Lee and wife Cherie formalised a training partnership.
Curtis Racing’s ‘quality over quantity’ approach allows the team to dedicate individual attention to each horse leaving no stone unturned.

What We Offer
Training Experience
With a wealth of dedication and experience between Lee and Cherie, Curtis Racing’s no nonsense approach and high level of detail sees a constant flow of winners for the stable
Owner Experience
Racing is all about its owners and we endeavour to give you, the owner, the best experience possible. We hold regular Owners days and Christmas parties, which are great for like minded people to come together and enjoy a drink, BBQ and discuss the horses in the team.
Proven Success
A host of stakes winners highlighted by Group 1 Galaxy winner Mistegic and Group 1 VRC Oaks winner Lasqueti Spirit have been trained by Curtis Racing.
Great Location
Based at Rosehill Gardens, the home of the world’s richest 2YO race, Curtis Racing is ideally placed to be able to travel horses wherever the most suitable race location is for that particular horse to have the best opportunity.
Horse Selection
Curtis Racing have a stringent selection criteria when attending yearling sales, with those practices giving us the best opportunities to secure high quality performers.

Curtis Racing has access to all the modern day training tools and facilities that Rosehill Gardens has available to ensure each horse is able to thrive and reach their highest level of success on the track.

CURTIS RACING STABLES
Curtis Racing is located on course at one of Sydney’s premier racing precincts, Rosehill Gardens. The stables are modern and spacious and can house up to 14 horses.
FERNHILL EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
Curtis Racing use Fernhill Equestrian Centre for their pre training and breaking in. A premier equestrian facility on 1700 acres, situated at the historic Fernhill Estate in Mulgoa, NSW and with top class facilities including a 2400m racecourse. Fernhill his managed by the McDermott family, Greg and Jennie and their son Tom, an Australian Champion Show Jumper. It is a terrific environment for our horses to start their careers with highly experienced equestrians responsible for their education.
ROSEHILL GARDENS
Rosehill Gardens is the main Western Sydney track of the Australian Turf Club.
The racecourse precinct offers state of the art facilities that are comprised of six training tracks including dam track for warm ups, B reverse sand, A sand, Inside grass, new state of the art poly track and course proper. The stables are oversized, well ventilated and secure. There is also a 10 horse walking machine, 50m swimming pool, large sand rolls and hose bays, round yard and weighing scales. Jumpouts are weekly alternating between grass and poly track with experienced barrier staff on hand.
FAIRVIEW PARK STUD
Curtis Racing utilitises the services of Fairview Park Stud for spelling. Fairview Park Stud is nestled in Grose Wold, NSW at the foot of the Blue Mountains. With 150 acres of well fenced paddocks on premium land, stabling provisions, on site equine vet and a lifetime of experience and knowledge by farm managers Linda Duckworth and Heather McKinnon it is an ideal place for our horses to rest and grow.
